Re: Which set has 12- and 20 tooth double bevel gears?

(...) The "Spybotics" sets all have the double-bevel gears. If you're lucky, you can find the sets on clearance - I got lucky and scored three of them at 75% off after Christmas at a not-so-local Target... I'm going to hazard a *guess* that Lego (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Are "classic" technic parts doomed?

Ah, it's about time we have a new thread about the possible death of "traditional" Technic LEGO again! I think that, while there is indeed a large abundance of new style technic parts, which I welcome, there is also a major use of traditional (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

  my technic set idea

Basicly, we need a "universal" type set that emphasizes function over form & that doesnt have studless beams, faring panels or anything like that. Something with a couple of models (2 or 3) plus a whole bunch of "ideas" of how to do different little (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

dear lego, please use more of part 32555.

Which set has 12- and 20 tooth double bevel gears?

Since I'm getting more and more into the Technic stuff I'm trying to build models which can operate like the real ones. I have many, many Technic sets but 95% of them are from the period 1977 to approx. 1999. Since then I haven't bought Technic sets (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Are "classic" technic parts doomed?

Is TLS abandoning the classic "Technic" design concept completely? Looking at the new "Technic" sets, it seems that TLC continues its abandonment of the older "classic" Technic concept using holed beams and plates - replacing these with the newer (...)   Another render of set 8458

I made another render of the Silver Champion. I made several tweaks but it's still not where I want it (though it only took 2 days to render instead of 11). Check it out here: (warning 1MB pictue) (URL) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.technic)

WOW, new heavy haulage and machinery LEGO site on-line (by Harald Ziegler)

  Airplane wing

Happy easter hollidays! Now I've at last got time to finish the first version of an airplane wing. It had an wingspan of 133cm and the weight was 460gram. And when I atached a light body and tailplane it glided a bit, but it was a bit too heavy so I (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
