Re: How I store my Lego

(...) It's scary thinking of a Lego collection that makes that a challenge (...) I said I was {under 18} not 18. That black bin did it for me too. I can remember when I started sorting a while back and my brother said, 'You should sort by colour, (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) I was wondering if anyone used those. That was my original plan for storgae back when I was about 10 and tried sorting it. I never got very far though... I had a lot less Lego then. (...) Same as mine... But you already knew that. I'll try to (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) Ahhh, memories. (...) Dang, I missed my cue. "Ahhh, memories." :) The closest I can come is fitting all my Lego into one room-- but that hasn't happened in a few years :) (...) Huh! Interesting considering that 18 was the age that I switched (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) It's fun being under 18 and able to live without worryng about accomodation ;). On the other hand, it's bad being under 18 because my mum says I have so much Lego that I'm not allowed to buy any more until I leave home. (...) True (...) The (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) Heh, I dunno, I bet most people spend a good chunk of change on storage systems. I've easily tallied up over $700 worth just now out of curiosity. I've got 28 slotted slotted sorty-bins worth about $230, 43 tupperware bins worth about $363.50, (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

  How I store my Lego

I thought I'd tell people about my Lego storage system... Because I can and because it might be useful for people if they want to make their own. My storage system is probably more expensive than yours. It cost about £87 (c.$156) (Including boxes). (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: Luis Baixinho's storage solution?

(...) Hi, David I've got the store cabinets on various locals stores and as far i know, they are made here, in portugal. But i think there are similar things in US. They are metallic and the recipients are plastic, the only thing that i didn't like (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Luis Baixinho's storage solution?

  Hooray, shelves!

Two weeks ago, I moved to Berkeley, CA. I shipped almost 300 pounds of LEGO to my new apartment. (URL) A few of the boxes> For two weeks, my bins just sat in the unshelved closet or on the floor.   Re: Blue tubs question, 3033 vs. 4107

(...) If you are just now discovering the tub 4107, I suggest you act quickly to acquire more as most retailers have depleted their supplies and are restocking with the newer tubs; the newer tub containers are less useful, I think. Check out this (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: Storage/Travel box for large base plate MOCs

(...) The 20.5" is the top, the box is tappered to the bottom. You could use them upside down if you wanted, the latches are pretty firm. But the top has a slight tapper as well so you're not going to get the 20.5 in the lid for the 4 green (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Blue tubs question, 3033 vs. 4107

(...) Hi, Jason, Thanks for the quick reply. We too almost have a "wall o' Lego". Our plastic storage shelf is a bit sturdier-looking than yours, and the shelves are spaced just a wee bit closer together. As I wrote earlier, it's almost as if the (...)   Re: Blue tubs question, 3033 vs. 4107

(...) Yes. (URL) 3033> & (URL) 4107> are the same size. I also know set (URL) 4400> to be the same size as well. Looking through the lugnet guide, it would appear that (URL) 4013>, (URL), (URL) 4279>, and (URL) 4405> are all that size. However (URL) (...)   Re: Storage/Travel box for large base plate MOCs

(...) I wanted to confirm ... the large grey are 15" square but the site you provided says the size is 20.5" square ... it that only at the top? I'd love if 4 green baseplates would fit inside. If the top is indeed large enough for 4 green (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.storage)

Storage/Travel box for large base plate MOCs

A few folks at BrickFest had asked about the storage boxes that I used to transport my buildings, so here is the scoop. These boxes are just right for MOCs built on the large grey base plates, they fit perfect in the bottom with about 1 studs to (...)
