Storage/Travel box for large base plate MOCs

A few folks at BrickFest had asked about the storage boxes that I used to transport my buildings, so here is the scoop. These boxes are just right for MOCs built on the large grey base plates, they fit perfect in the bottom with about 1 studs to (...)   Re: My latest non LEGO LEGO creation...

Anyway this wasn't real hard to do although I would say a table saw is a necessity. I also have a (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.storage)

  Akro-Mils Cabinets at Target

I really like the big Akro-Mils 64-, 44-, and 24-drawer cabinets. You can beat up on the polyethylene drawers all you like and they come back for more. Pick some up if you can get your hands on them for cheap. I've had some trouble getting them (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Storage area design fundamentals needed

My wife and I have decided to put an addition on to our house. One of the main goals of the addition is to address the lack of storage in the existing house. (a colonial built around 1910 - families did not have much Lego back then!) As part of the (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Storage / Display case for the 10152

(...) Why not build one? You can get Lexan and other plastic sheets cut to size at home centers. Either have one large piece cut and then bend it (use either a heat gun or a brazing torch to heat the sheet and let it drape over a form) and add end (...)   Re: What's the difference between the Plano 3700 and 3770?

(...) The 3770 had almost twice as many positions for the dividers so you can better tailor the size of the compartments. The 3770 also supports "angled" dividers (intended to fishing tackle with big "lips"/"spoons" on the front). It should be noted (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jun-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: downsizing

I think the idea is make a "working set" depending on what you like. Some sorted, some not. I keep a good amount of sorted Lego in 3 39-drawer cabinets. In these I am able to store a limited amount of plates and small parts of all colors. Most of (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Re: downsizing

Hello, while I would not say I have too much Lego, I certainly have a chore in maintaining it all. So, what I do is keep one color out that I can work with. Try that. Also, I keep choice elements and parts out on my desk that I hope to use some day. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Re: IKEA - GLIS

I picked the rougher STEN instead of IVAR shelving, but then mine lives in the basement. STEN worked well with Clearview storage bins, until Clearview changed all their sizes last year. (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.storage)

Re: Summer Goal: Complete Sort & Storage
