TLG doesnt want to make all of the "cool" or "important" or whatever characters too soon, otherwise there wont be any more new characters to introduce from classic SW that are good enough to introduce. I dont see TLG making a mos eisly cantina set (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

How about a scaled-down Tantive IV? I realize that building it true minifig-scale would be prohibitive, but they could make it big enough to cram two minifigs in the cockpit and maybe one in a gun turret. Throw in a small escape pod, use the X-Wing (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
