I'm relieved that I'm not the only person having this problem. I received a TRU
gift-certificate for Christmas. I decided to go on a personal mission: I would
visit at least one TRU per day until I found all of the 2001 SW sets. I naively
believed that it wouldn't take long, since I found the 2000 sets on 12-22-99. I
got real lucky the 2nd day: I found the Tie Fighter and Droid Escape. After
that? Day after day, TRU after TRU...nothing. I had resolved not to shop
anywhere else because I didn't want to spend any extra money. I could find
absolutely nothing, though. Finally, I broke down and bought the Imperial
Shuttle, AT-ST and Droid Carrier at Wal-Mart. In recent days I have been to 2
different TRU's many times, and have seen only 1 single Droid Escape. This is
January 22, and I know that my city isn't usually Lego-deprived. What's going
on here? Did Lego just get overwhelmed by the popularity of the sets this
Christmas?
