It seems like all the 2001 sets disappeared from the stores here (colo spgs,
co) just before Christmas... in fact, the Lego aisles at our Walmarts and
Targets have been almost bare since then. TRU has a bunch of LOM and such,
but no SW (not last time I checked anyway.)
The only 2001 SW set (aside from the technics) I've seen is the Battle Droid
Carrier... Target has had 'em since early December.
Fortunately for yours truly, I was able to get one each of the TIE Fighter,
Imperial Shuttle, and the Droid Escape before Christmas. I own 3 Battle
Droid Carriers because they are so plentyful, and though I've seen Watto's
Junkyard I haven't purchased it. I have yet to even see an AT-ST anywhere.
All I have to say is keep looking, and look places you wouldn't normally
think you'd find 'em. I was hitting my local TRU every single day when I
first heard that the new SW sets were available, and one day on a lark I hit
a Target and found a TIE Fighter (last one.) About a week later I was still
hitting the TRU and they had nothing, I hit a Walmart by a friends house
(one I never shop at) and voila, there was a Shuttle... I haven't seen
either set since.
