| | | I've seen a lot of really good MOC AT-ATs on the web and I really think Lego could do this if they wanted to. By my estimation, to be minifig scale, it would have to be about 40 studs tall. I know they'd be very different models in appearance, but the big attraction of the DSDK is that it's a Lego AT-AT; that's why it takes centre image on (...) | | | | 1st rule: NEVER go by what you see in the movie!! In one scene, the AT-AT's could easily be 100 M tall, wheras in the scene when the foot steps on luke's snowspeeder, it is significantly smaller (to scale w/ the foot, maybe 10 M tall at the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

| | | | | | | Here's a thought, maybe there are several different sizes of AT-AT based on purpose. A larger 80ft one that contains vehicles and a smaller 50ft version that is a people transport. | | | | | | BUT if you go strictly by the fact that the foot of the AT-AT covers the Snowspeeder and take into account the size of the LEGO Snowspeeder. | | | | | | | If you consider that LEGO uses existing pieces where they can, I can imagine each foot would use one of those tiny "saucer" pieces like the AT-ST foot, or the Millenium Falcon landing gear.
