Hey,
Am I the only oddball here who actually kind of enjoys sorting? I guess I kind
of like having an ordered world where everything is in its place (or, to be more
honest, since the rest of my world tends to be so disordered, it’s nice to have
order in a little piece of it). After a long day of work and it’s kind of nice
to turn on the TV and just sort of mindlessly separate plates into separate
piles.
I do, though, understand the daunting task. When I tore apart my
Minas Tirith streets I had this huge task in front of me. The cool part was
that at the end I suddenly had that much more LEGO to build with. Actually,
when it was still together it was really cramping my building style. My
collection is of the size that anything that covers multiple baseplates
essentially consumes the bulk of my useful bricks.

You're right that it's daunting; my collection isn't the largest of the large, but more than half of it is unsorted, and I quail at the (...)
