Eric,
Ever seen "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"? Rember what Professor Jones
told his son Indy when Indy was reaching for the Holy Grail while his dad was
trying to pull him up from a ravine? Here were the words:
"Let it go.."
That's my suggestion to people when they want to post something negative
anywhere on lugnet. Don't feel like you have to defend yourself anytime someone
slights you. It takes a stronger person to let something slide off your back
than to let it disturb you and fight back.
Yes, Eric has rubbed a few people the wrong way from time to time, and I could
have made some snide comment (actually, I made a short one, but after some
thought, it's not appropriate, and I'm canceling my post, just so I don't jump
on the bandwagon of comments).
Granted, Eric and I used to be friends. Stuff happened (won't go into details
here), and we don't talk anymore. Does that mean I have to carry a grudge? NO.
Does that mean I can still respect the work he does? YES. Does it mean I have
to interject a mean comment to a post of his, just because he posted it? NO.
Eric has just as much right to post here as everybody else does.
