Not really, but if I want to see a large pile of unsorted Lego, I only need to walk into my own lego room - sorry, studio. Built models are far more fascinating to me, but maybe I’m weird.

Not just posting, but double posting about breaking up a model is more boring to me even than trains. You could’ve at least given a part count. That would’ve rescued it from the realms of irrelevancy.

Also, give me some credit. I got some questions concerning sorting and so I answered here, sheding some light on the way I sort.

So stop dithering and ask them. I recommend http://news.lugnet.com/storage/ I’ll even set the FUT for you. See how helpful I am? Feel free to continue discussing sorting in the appropriate forum.

So I have reasons. Besides, since when do I need a reason to just talk about Lego. I have such few friends I can talk with. I felt open enough to discuss it here, without concern for motivation or any other reason than to just say “whew, this is a lot of work!”

Perhaps then some else who had spent 3 months building something and then in taking it a part replied and said “yeah, I built this huge ship once and it took quite a while to sort it out. Infact when I sort I do it like this....xyxyxyxx etc...raising some sort of useful discussion about good ways to sort.

So not only was I just trying to vent and mark some history in my own thread, you know see the time line from creation to end, also to just talk with some Lego fans about the Mech Bay.

The mech bay is gone. The thread’s ashes blew to the wind long ago. What exactly is there to say? You want us all to say ‘nice moc’ again?

Then again, with you, I’m always doing something wrong and your always there to correct me. Not this time. I just felt like reaching out to LUGNET. If I do so, I don’t really need your approval.

‘Always’? lol. You have no idea. Unless you want me to respond to this drivel? Or any one of a hundred other similar posts I can find within a couple of minutes searching where I didn’t reply? Or is this some new definition of ‘always’ I wasn’t previously aware of?

Your always so angry with me.

Wow. You read anger in my post? Not on this planet dude. Nothing there but pure, unadulterated sarcasm. But thanks for playing.

How about looking for the good I do and please stop trying to fault me.

I don’t need to try, Eric.

Since hardly anyone talks to me as it is,

Ever wonder why?

do you mind very much if I entertain myself.

Not at all. I’ll even pass you a tissue. Doing it in public is somewhat distasteful in my opinion, but again, maybe I’m weird.

No your not, just something to pounce on and troll over. Again I ask you, what happend to the kind and supportive person I remember when we used to say nice things to each other about our creations? Why come after me so much? So hateful. I just want to be a contributing member of this community.

Look at the minifig, Eric. Look at the minifig.

btw, I sorted the remainder of the Mech Bay.

Sorting by color works well, then by type; slopes, bricks, plates. Oh Allister, I’m talking about sorting techniques, or were you to busy being hateful to see that?

Don’t bother answering, I would rather you NOT ever reply to anything I do, you have no biz sticking your nose in to my affairs. Consider yourself unwelcome now. I’ll respond in kind, likewise. It’s best we do not interfere with one another. Thank you.

In case you’re interested I sort by aura. It’s very spiritual.

As much as you’d like to turn .mecha into lugnet.eric, this is still a public forum, and I’ll ‘stick my nose’ in wherever I choose, thankyou very much. Want me to stay our of your ‘affairs’? keep ‘em out of public. It’s really as easy as that.

I somehow knew it wouldn’t take long for you to break your promise. I even predicted it at the time, so thanks for validating my rapidly sinking opinion of you. You’re quite welcome to try and get me banned if that’ll make you happy. I hope your up to defending your own posting history.

Cheers,

Allister

p.s. How’s that thick skin coming along?
