Hi Danny,

Let me just say, that I am very sorry to have you see all this negativity.
I have to share the blame. I have a tendency to confront people when they are
mean to me.

Is that a good thing? Not really.
I just got off the phone with a noted and acomplished Lego Fan.
Our 30+ minute conversation was about ignoring negativity.

True the post originated in .mecha &.space, but in no way should reflect the
regular users.

Again, I apologize to you and people like you for allowing myself to continually
defend myself to the point of upsetting fellow readers like yourself.

Last night I prepared my work area to receive Jama.
The head parts are ready for rebuild and I am looking forward to having the
robot ready for the Jersey City Artist Studio Tour, a show I have participated
in for 14 years now.

Your interest was a big factor in dusting off the robot and getting it ready for
display. Then once fully operational, I am going to fill those requests of
yours.

As for the rest of the concerns in your post, I hear you and wish things can be
different.

....they will be different. I have a plan. It is one word.

"whateva...."

That's what I'm going to say next time. Not fight with people who's minds can't
be changed.

So please, I ask you, don't let this shameful volley of posts reflect on a
newsgroup I call home. I curate the sidebar with Mark Neumann. We like it, we
hope you like it and we hope others will contribute.

There is a lot of Tech to be discussed, not a lack of Tech and disgust.
Wait, did that make sense? LOL, hahahaha,

Thank you for your interest and concern.

Eric Sophie
(looking forward to swimming in clear water)

P.S. I owe you that Tech Doc! I pulled out some old CD's so I can prepare it for
you.

A whole lot of people posted a whole lot of messages back and forth. I didn't read them all, and I don't do mecha or space, but I saw the large thread and got curious. I think a large groups of folks need to go back to the beginning and focus on the (...) (19 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Okay people. I am new to .mecha (about 5-6 months) - but not at all to LUGnet in general. I am have missed what ever transpired before, but this particular volley has left me a little saddened, enough that I think I might leave .mecha alone for a (...)
