Ill try that one next time my kids ask why a talking animal in an animated
does something that makes no sense (for us humans, at least). Like, How
come Dory cant remember stuff? (from our trip to Finding Nemo) :-)

I find that children respond very well to the particulars of abstract literary
theory. Then you can move them onto questions about how the voiceover actor in
one film can be a different character in another film. Oh, the fun to be had!
