Also, if you can think of a space station section that hasn't been suggested
yet and want to volunteer for it, go for it! Come to think of it, Life • Support
and Environmental Engineering haven't been even mentioned either.

Ohh! Ohh! Is Environmental Engineering what I think it is? Like growing plants
in space? Because if so, I want it!

hehehe

Yes, it is. But more than just hydroponics, it's the whole mechanism of having
a small eco-system, plants and certain bacteria (though not usually with
insects or animals), to break down our waste and to change it into something
useful for us. Air, water, and food are all a part of this, as well as using
plants for other things if needed, natural fibers for clothing, any useful
drugs obtained from certain plants, you name it. With the proper use of micro-
organisms we get bread, beer, and cheese; and of course mushrooms are a
fungus. The idea is to maintain a closed enviro-system that can more than
sustain the needs of its constituents.

I'll add you onto that subject, as well as introduce it, when I update the
page.

Sounds like you've got a whole sanitation/fashion/drug/grocery store ahead of
you. (In this case, brown Lego *will* come in handy ;-)

(...) Oh joy! Oh 'appyness! :) Thats great, the brown lego. :) And green, of course, and grey for the mushrooms and other fungi, even though a while ago I did see a vibrant orange at the base of a tree. (Yum, yum! ;p) -- Mark Nelson Speedy's Lego (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.space)
