Re: AT-FT - All Terrain Field Transport

Thanks Jeff! Reminds me...I forgot to put a little plug in for the Armoury on the page - next update ;) Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lame Parts Competition - The Prize Winners

(...) Hah! I almost used the Nick Bluetooth minilegs I got from the McDonalds Happy meal promo baby Galidor thing, but since I wanted to keep the brown and tan color scheme, I figured blue legs just wouldn't cut it. Ahh, well. (...) How about next (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Lame Parts Competition - The Prize Winners

(...) Or if you'd bought Nick Bluetooth you could have walked away with it :) I did consider going by the quantity of each part, but I think the way I did it encouraged using more different parts rather than relying on lots of a particular one. Of (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Pre - Classic Space rears it's ugly head again

This pre-classis space stuff is way cool. I like the washed out coloring. Though if a NASA-esque group built this, there'd likely be some gold insulation foil somewhere on the ship to add a splash of color. I've actually been thinking of building in (...)   Couple o' MOCs

Hi again, First up I present a small hover car. This one began life as a CAD only model. Building it worked out a lot of the flaws I didn't pick up in thr computer, and then I CADded it againfor your perusal - it's a bit small for my feeble camera (...)   Re: Lame Parts Competition - The Prize Winners

Damn, I knew I should've gone out and bought one of those buckets in order to get a picket fence :) I could've won! Heck, I was also hoping you'd go by the number of each lame part used, as I have a great many of them in my model. Oh well. It was (...)   Re: Crazy Dave's Toy Store: A Moonbase Module

(...) That's really slick. I love the shape of the roof, it's not just flat. I'm worried about where all these Moonbasers live, though. It seems that most of the moonbase modules built thus far are commercial and scientific. Where's the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et In Arcadia Lego: DiAxis

(...) I found this one on Brickshelf, not by announcement. It intrigued me, especially the 4x4 red transparent radar dish...and what lies beneath? I guess it's just the engine, but still...nice touch. I like the details and the unorthodox building, (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre - Classic Space rears it's ugly head again

That ship really gives a shaky feeling, looks like it is glued together! In a nice and proper way that is. I perticularly Like the use of the ball sockets as thrusters. Last year you set the style guide... Now your first child has been born! I think (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New poster, new MOC

(...) Hee, thanks, I should still go see Macross someday. ^^;; And... I probably won't be making new creations for some time, as this ship has about 1/2 of all my lego in terms of mass, and just about all of my regular bricks and plates. Though (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) white design he uses. =D My ship is 180 studs long, from tip to tip, and weighs some 25 lbs. (I weighed it by weighing myself while holding the ship in my hands, and without.) and it's minifig scale of course. =) -Bennie (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New poster, new MOC

(...) Thanks =) There is an interior, but I didn't make it easilly accessible. I wanted to keep it strong enough to hold together. (it can support it's own weight yay) I intend to take a few of the panels away soon, and then have my uncle (who owns (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Drake Equation (was: Re: Some great Space info and dicussion)

Re: Crazy Dave's Toy Store: A Moonbase Module

(...) Yes indeedy. I really like all the little details in there. Things like the shopping trolley and the little police hoversled thing, but my favourite is that hover skateboard. Such economy of parts! Such nice design. Any chance of a closer look (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hi Bennie and welcome! starship No.3 is my favourite. Man, this is huge! What I specially like is the front part with those sloping sides. And there's a lot of good-looking snot here and there. Ah, and I like this comm-array: (URL) wonder (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Some great Space info and dicussion

(...) Small spacecraft dependent upon larger craft for long-range transport likely would have much greater utility in peaceful purposes than in warfare. Sure, we're talking about usefulness, of which energy costs are a great factor in space. If a (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
