  Battery voltage levels

I have two RCXs: a version 1.0 with external power connector, and a version 2.0 without. They consistently report different voltages on the same batteries: the 2.0 puts all batteries about 0.3v higher. I want to know how much variation there is (...)   Re: BrickOS & BricxCC - coming soon to a Windows PC near you

You press the compile button and it either performs a make without errors or a little (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

How to find maximum available memory for datalog, power consumption and sensor wire length?

Hi there, I'm preparing to write a log program to store temperature values in the datalog. After some experimenting and familiarizing with the datalog associated functions I've found the following: Using CreateDatalog(x) with x being a constant and (...)   Re: Mac OS X

Ed, Thanks, I was familiar with that thread. Unfortunately not much useful info came out of it. I was hoping for a report from someone who was ultimately successful in building legOS and its tools, as well as building the cross-compilers on a USB OS (...)   Re: IR tower problems on a laptop with NQC

The light goes on as soon as you plug in the tower? Sounds like someone is already using COM3. I was looking around DELL technical support and you may have a bit of work ahead of you. First off your serial port on the inspiron 8200 should be COM1. I (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

I also figured out what COM3 was: the internal modem. I disabled it in Device Manager and now the only port that I can find in my C# app or in Hyperterminal is COM1, the serial port. But the IR tower is still not working. By the way, the built-in IR (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

  Re: Automatic RCX Battery Recharging
