Hi, Once again i am back about RCX and BT-Connection. Receiving messages from the PC via BT to the RCX is OK. But if I send messages from the RCX to the PC with 4800 Baud i get only 4 Bytes. (...) Sure, but that's what zero padding is for. Since the opcode is IR-only, you don't care too much about length. Thanks a lot Ralph, And I'm sure you're right. I tried this: 10000 VALUE CTR : test 100 0 DO I CR . CTR 0 DO LOOP LOOP ; For CTR > 11000, the numbers are displayed one at a time. Uhhhh, gee, I just used some extra-long wires I got from Dacta to extend the console over to next to the couch, and plugged it in there ;-) But yeah, I want to get a couple of IR remotes too, for when I take an 8448 to work, and for my future train (...) The retry timing for RCX_Link uses a dynamic backoff, which is a good general purpose solution if you're going to be sending lots of packets (like a typical NQC download) and the latency through the serial driver is unknown and/or unpredictable (...) Hello Does the Vision Command camera send messages to the RCX via the IR port ? I would assume this would be the case but I just wanted to make sure. (...) Yes, you are correct - 11 bits total per byte. And yes, this is very non-standard. I believe the signal is inverted - meaning that IR light is present for "0" bits, and no light for "1" bits. 		Turning power off?
To my dismay, I discovered this morning that the batteries of the RCX were empty. And it's sunday :-( It is possible that I forgot to turn it off, yesterday evening.
