Re: Connecting Sonar to the Handy Board

Hi Todd, You don't need the expansion board to connect the Polaroid transducer to the Handy Board. In fact, Kent Farnsworth has code to show exactly how to do it. Check out: ftp://cherupakha.med...trib/kent/ I hope that helps. - Prabal (...) (28 years ago, 16-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Connecting Sonar to the Handy Board

I am trying to find the easiest way to connect sonar to the handy board. I already have the polaroid soanr units but have no idea how to hook them up to the handy board. I have read about the expansion board and its capability of doing this. The (...) (28 years ago, 16-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Encoders routine

I am having difficulty using the Encoders.c routine for the handyboard. I have written some code that continually reads the encoder (port 0) and writes it to the LCD, then waits 30 [ms] so that the value is readable. I called this code testsens.c (...)   Passive IR motion detectors

Does anyone know where to buy the electronics that are used to make security system IR/motion detectors?   using Buffalo with the HB

Ronan -- I don't think it's the LCD per se that is causing problems, but rather the fact that the HB runs the 6811 in special mode.
