hi. I was looking thru the new Robot Store catalog (www.mondo.com) and saw that they were selling hexapod walkers. I was wondering has anyone here built a hexapod? We're trying to build a handyboard, and we attempted to dl the .s19, but it doesn't work. It gives the connecting at 1200 baud.... message but nothing happens after this. It's unlikely you killed the MCU, there are 1k resistors in series with the RxD and TxD lines. Go to the assembly manual, and run through the series of tests that verify proper operation of the Interface/Charger Board. (URL) your message you said: (...) I want to use an external battery for motor power. I see the power expansion header apparantly for this purpose but it appears that I have to cut a trace to disconnect the HB battery from MOTORPWR. A few months ago I found information on how to modify the Sharp IR Demodulator to produce an analogue voltage relating to the strength of IR received. Help! I accidently plugged a network rj11 cable between my HB and the serial interface board. It seems that I released the smoke genie from R 11.
