*shudder* Despite my not-quite-purist's outlook, cutting Legos up if the
thing you make are already available otherwise just freaks me out :)
well, I just recently ordered some Service sets: 2 gear sets, 2 small
beam sets, 2 axle sets, and two "connection-elements" sets: I really
needed a few more differentials, and I figured I was paying shipping
anyway :)
So now I have 4 #5 axles, and 8 each of the 1*1 w/hole and 1*2 w/2
holes, some extra friction pegs & bushings & such, All of which I'm
quite happy with. But why does the gears set include _four_ 1*4 rack
gear plates? I already had 12 or so I never used, so now I'll be in 20+.
Not counting the 4 from supercar :)

| I like the gear plates for creating gantry type of constructions. I used them in my "photocopier"/fax (no photo available as I've already disassembled it). Matt medinfo@aros.net (...) -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (26 years ago, 25-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
