| Got a prototype built. Easier than I thought. More friction in my prototype version than I wanted. I took some digital pics before I tore it apart. Mine was 4 x 9.5 x 5 studs in size and used 4 8t gears, 8 16t, 2 worm and 1 idler. The four 8t gears (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Make one ;) If you're not sure you want to put a hole in the ones you have, buy some spares beyond your stock requirement for ones with cross axle holes and adjust them. As a simple tip, use a drill press. Mount the gear using black friction (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics)
