Hello,
I have been looking for info on how to build a posi-trac differential, which
supplies power to the wheel with the /most/ resistance instead of the least
as with a regular differential. I was hoping the functionality was
mechanical, but I am starting to guess it is computer based.

Hello Elijah,
Just last week I found some interesting info on Torsen Differentials on the
web. They are completely mechanical devices. This may be the type of
'positive traction' differential you are looking for. Check out
www.humvee.net for some info on these differentials. I just recently
finished building a Lego version of this type of diff, and will add some
pics to my site soon. The downside is that it is pretty bulky. I built it
around one of the large technic turntables, but it could be built between
two 40 tooth gears. Send me an email if you want more info.
