Thanks for the advice, I now have VC working on Xp. I had one idea which made the process easier. I installed VC on a separate Win98 partition (C:\) on my HD. Since Xp can use the FAT32 Win98 partition, I didn't have to transfer the VC files to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc)

Hi, I have RIS 1.5 and with an RCX 2.0 brick, I have downloaded the SDK 2.0 but the sample programs report Error (0xe0050c98) from VPBrick vpb: bad (unsupported) PBrick type Is this because I am using RIS 1.5? I would have to agree with Rob here. If the Spybots can not communicate with other Mindstorms stuff then they become a 30 day toy. Its amazing the Lego price for a short-term kit is $60.00. It looks like it's more along the lines of the micro-scout, but it sounds a bit more capable.
