If I can come to the next one is still a mystery at this point but I still
see things moving at too fast a pace for myself and obviously others. I have
always envisioned a Lego Enthusiast's meeting as a place where a group of
5-15 people come together to show off their MOCs, look at various building
techniques, and discuss new ideas for anything Lego in a comfortable
environment hopefully with food:). From what I have seen, this meeting looks
more like a Convention, which while good for bringing people to Lego
increase the stress count exponentially. Life is stressful enough, is it
not? While I do admire your enthusiasm, I suggest a little caution and time
for others to voice their concerns. However, I do kind of like the idea of a
derby contest.
For those who have been working to fulfill the above plan, I applaud your
vigor but please wait for the rest of us to catch up. A little patience goes
along way in easing people's concern.
Head count is important, but I am as of yet, unsure about my attendance at
this meeting. So please put me on the maybe list.
