With just a little notice we can meet there just about anytime. If we want to display again, we may even get a little press. More specifically, they will be having a holiday event on December 7, 2003. That whole back of the greenhouse is available to us. The owner is a model trains fan and I mentioned Lego trains. If the guys in LUCNY are up for it, maybe we could do a combined gig? Any other SLUGs interested in working on a train display? We need some scenery, buildings, etc so this would definately appeal to a wide variety of talents. We would also need some logistic help from LUCNY (even if they cannot attend) to avoid re-inventing the wheel on some things. (layout size, rail configurations, scales, etc.) So, any early takers? As for a LUCNY/GardenSlug event -- I am all for it and I think Wayne Sardullo was trying to gauge interest several weeks ago but did not get any solid answers then.
