Most places (malls, halls, etc.) will have some tables, and yes, most will be a "similar" height. But there is ALWAYS a good chance that they will be off by 0.5", for example, which would be no problem for bingo night, or a raffle ticket selling (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

I've been toying with get 5 inch or so plexi to have go around a layout to act both as a barrier from hands AND run away Lego. Also, some of the other groups have come up (...)
