  Table Layout

Hi all, I must admit that I'm still a little puzzled as to how our tables are actually laid out. To that end, I've uploaded a couple of files to the ftl site. Hopefully, someone (Kevin?) can illuminate me as to the layout. Tables-Worksheet.bmp - a (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: plywood train tables

(...) OK, so then we only need to get 1 more door. Bonus! (...) I should have posted this before. David's doors are 30 x 80, and 32 x 80, so we should be able to put my 28 and David's 32 side by side, and voila! Anybody else find another door (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Robin Sather wrote in message ... (...) I don't thnk so. There's no easy way to get close to our current dimensions, so we'd have to redesign the layout. No thanks :-) (...) We need 4 doors total, given that we can use Robin and Bryan's 30" x 8ft (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: plywood train tables

(...) I found out that the tables are 2.5 x 6 feet!?! Kevin!! Can these work at all? Please post your synopsis. On the other side of the coin, David has secured 2 suitable doors, so that makes a total of 3 doors in the bag (for nothing!). How many (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Mount Cheam Train Show Invitation

Hi guys, I got this email from the Mount Cheam Lion's Train Show people. They want us! The show is on October 20th and 21st. I'll reply that I'm taking it to the club, and keep the communication open. We (the club) can discuss it here ... Robin (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: plywood train tables

Just another thought ... For this first show (TTOS in Richmond) we do have free tables available for use. Should I inquire as to sizes and see if we could make them work for us? It would sure save us some money right now, and let us all concentrate (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Sign is finished!

(...) I think that if we were to put some sort of vertical strengthener between the ends of the sheets, it would be much stronger, stiffer, less prone to bending or breaking, and more visible as well. I know that there is something that is designed (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Sign is finished!

(...) I just want to be sure it won't crack on drilling and that it can't be broken easily while people pull on it. I'd hate it to break and hurt someone. (...) I'd prefer the higher tables as well. The "Real" Train guys tables are MUCH higher then (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Robin Sather wrote in message <3b47b394.25162868@l...et.com>... (...) I did some fiddling around and I think the best way would be to cut three 30"x40" chunks out of each 96"x48" sheet of ply. That would replace the four 30"x80" doors and give us (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Sign is finished!

Did a Home Depot run today, and checked prices, availability, etc. I also picked up all the stuff to make the sign post, etc. I came home, prepared it, and put it together. It looks great!   To Do Lists for everyone

Hi, I've looked at the most recent layout and I don't have any complaints. I sure hope we get a lot accomplished during Monday evening's meeting.
