| | | (...) Well. That comes back to the question of "needing" a tachometer. I've noticed that like almost automatics have tachometers. | | | | | (...) You can still use the speedometer. Unless you got lots of wheel spin there is a direct relationship between the tack and the speedometer. The W8 Passat, which uses a derivative of the W12 (two less cylinders per side, or a dual VR4) already ships in a 6 speed manual. Both are very quiet cars. I asked someone (...)
