This is definitely Johns domain, but as far as I know, the W12 is just two VR6's
stuck together like siamese twins. Its still a single crankshaft. I don't see
why the 'W' thing is such a big deal. The cylinders are offset (ie not in a
straight line) so the engine block can be shorter. Thats the only reason for the
'W'.
