Couldn't you achieve the same end result by using just one sensor port?
And signal EoT by changing the port from Passive to Active and back?

(...) Do the control labs have 2 inputs and 2 outputs? Can you just hook one in & out together, and say that is the signal line for one robot? (then do the same for the other?) Then, when one signal is received, the control lab sends out a signal on (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
