I tool my telescope out last night and viewed Mars and the Moon.  The Milky Way
could be seen easily in Hamiltyon--first time I've seen it in Hamilton.

I got B5 s3 from AMazon on Wednesday and was looking forward to watching more
eps last night, but alas, no power.

Btw, s3 is awesome--"Only one human captain has ever survived a battle with the
Minbari.  He is behind me.  You are in front of me.  If you value your lives, be
somewhere else."

Wow!

And the JMS speaking about the creation of the episode and such--is amazing how
those particular episodes remind me in a very real way of how Dubya and his
moronic ways are doing away with civil liberties in the name of 'safety and
security'  "Homeguard" = "Dept. of Homeland Security"

I wonder how he's feeling right now?  JMS that is.

Anyway, thiat particular rant should be saved for o.t-d...

Power is here in Burlington, but not in parts of Hamilton--my house was
unpowered, but I still ahd a very nice shower this morning--love gas water
heaters...

The freezer was out so I had to eat all that ice cream last night.  Oh well.

I read 'Foundations Edge' last night until I fell asleep.  Was weird reading
this "future" with gravimetric ships and atomic powered belt buckles, and
reading it via candlelight.

My housewarming party is on if power is restored to my abode.  I'll find out
when I get home tonight.
