Awesome that they've got this stuff - pricing at St Jacobs is $135 for the 8544,
$90 for the 8454 Rescue Truck.  So 10% less.  But I don't know if they have them
yet.

We are all in the same country right? (Canada) Where is this St. Jacobs??? The
only stores I know with LEGO are: Toys'R'Us, Wal-Mart and Zellers. I am looking
for a Back-Hoe and I need to find it as cheap as possible!

Iain is refering the the Bricks and Blocks stores.  There are three of these
stores.  One in St. Jacobs Outlet mall, just north of Waterloo,  Cookstown
Outlet mall, somewhere up the 400, and one somewhere in Windsor.

Important note for anyone thinking of heading to the St. Jacob's store is that
fact that it's in an outlet mall.  It's sometimes easier to get a non-LEGO
significant other to make the journey (depending on where you live) if they know
they can shop for a while as you hit the Bricks and Blocks store.  :)

Pretty much all they sell is Lego.

I believe 100% of their inventory is LEGO.  While not a company store, they move
a large volume of product through their store.  In fact, the company is the
largest independent LEGO retailer in North America.

They also have some large scale models there (mostly Egyptian themed) which look
as though they must have originated from the LEGO company itself.  The models
would be a much better attraction if they were cleaned or dusted now and then.
They seem to get dirtier looking every time I'm there.  :(

The St. Jacobs one is just down the highway from Iain.  The #$@*&!.

I'm not as close... but close enough to make the trip when necessary.  Wait,
when *isn't* it necessary to go the a store that sells nothing but LEGO?  ;)

Regards,
Allan B.
