well, think of it like this:

Say you build your frames at 24 inches.  That means 11 inches between the
three holes.  Put your taller modules as the bottom and middle, and your
lowest module (ie, a flat, buildingless module) on the top.  That way you
get ~5-6 inches of clearance for the top module, and ~10-11 inches for the
middle and bottom.  Remember, the bottom of the module is open, so you can
tuck the tops of buildings under the lip of the 1x2's...

(...) My problem is that all but one of my modules contain 2 story + buildings, and they are almost all located on the side of a module.... I was figuring it out, and I do believe that it is possible.... I just have to be absolutly sure that I drill (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
