Oooof. This turns out to be harder than I thought. :) My robot moves around
fine on the concrete floor of my condo. I have a short-pile carpet rug from
IKEA in my "living room" - tried it out on that - epic fail! Just a heads-up
from people who haven't started building yet, that maybe making sure your robot
runs OK on carpet should be a first priority!

| (...) ...and I fail. It doesn't work in bright light. I programmed it late at night and it works great. The differential between the light source at night is good (about 10 counts). But in the day it is too close, and it either gets false readings (...) (16 years ago, 18-Jan-09, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
