OK, lets clear the air here:
This whole "bragging rights" thing stems from ... you guessed it .....
Steve.
When ever Steve enteres a lego robot contest, his second question is
"... whats the prize?"
RTL has never OFFICIALLY had prizes, sure we have had people donate
things, sometimes even cool lego sets, but for the most part its not
about the prize, its about learning, and doing.
when Steve won first place in C$ his second statement to me was (to
paraphrase) "...so what did i win?"
Having to think quick on my feet, I explained to Steve for the millionth
time, that he won "bragging rights."
I think in hindsight I should have just taken a timmy minifig and spray
painted it gold.
being mildly vindictive Steve took my words to heart, and now "claims"
his prize and freely boasts to anyone who will listen, about how he won
RTL 15 (or whatever it was)
so, to this end, I have to play nice and listen to Steve brag on TechTV
about winning this robot contest, and how on certain other lego robot
forums Steve talks about his C$ robot, and winning....
geesh I cant wait till he gets his back side whipped by someone from
RTL. THEN the fun shall start,
:)
Chris.
except for a TINY spot of rust on the "old" sink...........
Kate made me buy a NEW kitchen sink......
yet ANOTHER $100 wasted!
