Hey guys,

When do you want to have the next rtlToronto contest (tentatively stated as drag
racing)?

November we have Hobby Show and potentially a Christmas train show.  We also
have FLL Ontario, which I should be hearing more about soon.

Pick a time and place.

I'm throwing this out there without consulting either Chris or Calum, but if
there's an interest, and I get approval from the head honchos, I'd like to run a
concurrent event at the next rtlT robot event--

Half Size Block Stacking

The competition takes place in the 4x4 arena (fixed so that seam is smoother)

The 'bots have to fit in an 8x8x8 inch cube when they start--'bot can expand all
it wants after the 'start' button is pressed

In the field will be 40 blocks--a 2x2 brick, a 2x2 plate and a 2x2 tile put
together--that almost makes the blocks perfectly cubed.

The competition--who can make the highest free standing block tower.  (basically
same rules as previous block stacking events)

To add complexity (if there's a demand), I was thinking about combining block
stacking and block sorting--20 white blocks, 20 black blocks--your 'bot can only
stack the colour of blocks that matches the colour of your starting square.

Anyway, throwing it out there.
