(...) Let's just say the Spybot internal light sensor have the same annoying behaviour. But that nothing compare to the jamming shape of the 2x4 brick. BTW do a score or -4 still beat a score of -5?   Re: Chris' notebook

Derek, Thank you. This is very helpful in filling in the entire picture. If anyone else has inside knowledge about Chris' planning, and plotting, feel free to fill in other blank areas. I'm sure his scheme goes far beyond what any of us imagine. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Brilliant! :-) To add a few notes: March 17, 2003 Designed game to play on Derek's excessive cleanliness when it comes to his lego. This should stop him from entering the game.   Chris' notebook

I'm sure somewhere, Chris has a logbook with notes like this: :) ---...--- March 16, 2003 I just got home from rtl13. WOW. Some of the robots there were SO impressive. After seeing the the incredable robots by John G and Steve H, not to mention the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto) !!

  Re: block scoreing....

(...) I think he was being sarchastic. What I think we're all having a hard time understanding, is why this is such a problem? Just change your light sensor values. Instead of looking for white, look for black. Or vise-versa, whatever you need. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: block scoreing....

(...) no... I mis spoke. my EOAT is a simple mechanical device; it still uses a light sensor to sort.   Re: block scoreing....

(...) Wow. You found a mechanical way to separate the white blocks from the pit? That's pretty impressive! I would like to see that. So before you go destroying your robot to build one that picks out black blocks instead, could you take a few (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) maybe at ventax.....   rice pit

looks like lugnet is somehow censoring my headers. my original post was: The rule page does not mention this. Are we attaching the pit to the play field?   Re: 40% coverage!!!

  40% coverage!!!

My anti-X time is 40% pit coverage! -my bot has a platform base. -a great arm (22" long*) -and a EOAT that no only sucks bricks from the bottom of the pit, BUT also sorts them AT THE -TOOL HEAD!!!!!!   Attention losers (of the rice game)
