(...) Uh, yeah. Windows ME is probably the worst OS you could possibly load on a PC. All the instability of Windows 9x with extra GUI CPU load. Did you see it? I finally got to see it this morning--work had a few issues with servers crashing and microwaves not working and whole frames coming down, so I had to put in a few extra hours, but this morning I finally sat down and watched (...) I have recently obtained a PII 233 notebook with a 6GB drive I planned to use with the RIS 1.5 I just got used <shame><guilt>and still haven't opened </guilt></shame>. I think your attitude toward the competition is important to. You can approach it in the I'm going to win this, the I'm going to see if I can build something that works or the I'm going to go nuts and see what happens. For the most part I'm in the (...) Easy - the most important consideration is to keep it simple. Every feature or capability or software response you build in lets your bot DO something, but it adds failure modes.
