  Re: OT: Elevator Machine Room

(...) Yes and the newer elevator rooms are not that exciting. (...) In some older elevators I've seen the more interesting equipment is at the top of the shaft. (...) Check the inspection certificate that is sometimes mounted in the elevators, there (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  OT: Elevator Machine Room

This is sort of an obscure question... Has anyone ever toured or been inside a machine room (room with motor and control equpment and such) for an elevator? I'd really like to get to see the machine room for the 3 elevators in the building I live (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Good luck?

(...) I'm trying to think back to A+G but that seems to make sense. There are others who post here who are far superior to me at math so I'll leave that to them. So now you can find points on a circle. Here's the problem: a) How do you divide up (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Good luck?

(...) Oh, rockin! Somewhere out there in Ontario, there are 8x8 playfields, 2x4's with copper pipes at 6" intervals, and hundreds of white and black marbles. I'm imagining there'll be a lot of 2x2footx6inch platforms too (I think Bruce and Chris (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Good luck?

Some days, I just can't believe my good luck. On Friday, my wife took down the Christmas tree, and packed everything back into the boxes. And that reminds me... I got a tiny video transmitter, and just finished building it into a train car (along with a small camera).   Re: Pipe Racers Demo Videos

(...) I'm concerned that we won't be able to support a track of much length without having Ts to support the structure. The weight of a robot with one or two RCXs is quite significant.
