  Re: More contest ideas...

(...) Everyone always talks about this line following or obstacle course thing. Having the container on top makes it more difficult and introduces ideas like motion dampening or control systems.   Things I think about

So Saturday night at midnight I'm siting in an injection moulding plant in Elberton, the Granite Capital of the World. Watching moulding machines make 8 parts every 10 seconds or so, tweaking our robots that yank them out. And I look at the whole (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Yes. Using two microphone stands or C clamps on each end we should be able to fix the entire contraption in the air. The robots would run on the exterior of the pipe. (...) All those trips to the zoo to help design your monkey helped a lot. Here's a hint...next time, plan your trip for the daytime...the monkeys must have been asleep when you visited! (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  More contest ideas...

1. Liquid Carrier Last week's Junkyard Wars (Season 9 UK) had an excellent challenge called Smooth Riders.
