So Saturday night at midnight I'm siting in an injection moulding plant in
Elberton, the Granite Capital of the World.  Watching moulding machines make
8 parts every 10 seconds or so, tweaking our robots that yank them out.  And
I look at the whole system.  And what do I think?

"Wow, if we had done this rtlToronto style, I think Jeff Elliot would have
been the mould supplier because he does intricate things, Bruce or Dave
would have done the moulding machine (although Dave can't pick one solid
colour :-P) because it's this big giant thing that runs smoothly and is
overbuilt, Derek would have done our robotics, just cauze all his stuff is
acrobatic and stuff, I dunno... and I think without a doubt Rob would have
done all the assembly automation."

So I'm just like siting there thinking this.  Then I remembered how at a
washroom in a harvey's downtown across from Maple Leaf Gardens has "CLAP 4
BACON" scribed on the dryer, and I screamed.

Things that went thru my mind on Saturday night around midnight were:

How funny Robert DdNero really is (he was the host of SNL)
Trying to decide what to watch--SNL or Silver Streak--SS being one of the
best train chase movies ever (if there is a 'train chase' genre)

What ever happened to Gene Wilder?  Blazing Sadles and Silver Streak were
both on Saturday night--back to back--there's good viewing pleasure for ya!

I can still sit thru an ep. of Night Rider and not hate it as much as
viewing 5 minutes of hte A-Team

Staying up until 3 a.m. working on a 'bot and watching television is not as
good as staying up until 3 a.m. working on a 'bot and listening to
Beethoven.com.  Seems that watching television = 'brain drain' whereas
listening to classical music is somehow ambivalent to slightly positive on
the thinking scale.  Let's jsut say that LOR was much better off when I was
listening to classical music than when I was watching television.

But now Saturday is past, and I have a week to get a moderately functioning
'bot, well, moderately functioning.

Oh, LOR won't fit into a shoebox so I can't bring it to dinner,

"because rules is rules..."
