Re: Spring Toy, Train and Doll Show Pictures

(...) Always my pleasure Dave. Although, on my way home the car directly in front of me killed a deer, we had to drag it off the road, not the most pleasant part of my weekend. Of course, it might have been better than how many darn times I had to (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, FTX)

Re: Spam from a "legos" robot store

(...) I've passed it along to somebody who'll be able to get LEGO Legal to look at it. (...) Whoever it is is using a domain privacy service, which means they probably know they're doing something bad. - Kelly (18 years ago, 6-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Spam from a "legos" robot store

So I got some spam today. Some Goof-wad decided that I might be interested in his OVERPRICED wares. (URL) ALL the prices he lists are HIGHER than Bricklink. My personal favorite is the speed counter for $35 USD 2. will some kind soul PLEASE point (...) (18 years ago, 6-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Is the novelty wearing out?

(...) Perhaps in some geographic areas with a long intense history... perhaps. But in general, I don't think so. For instance, at HoB last year (the first year they had any LEGO - it's really a SciFi/Fantasy convention), the people coming through (...) (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Is the novelty wearing out?

Something bothered me the other day. Are AFOLs wearing the novelty of Lego models out for the general public? Let me explain. When I was 10, the Lego World Show appeared in Toronto and my grandmother took me to the displays at Simpsons on Yonge. I (...) (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Clean that mess!

After much pressure from various people wanting to know what I have made with my NXT; I would like to present my non violent robot.   Toy, Train and Doll Show--I need names!!

The organizers of the Toy, Train and Doll show need names to put on the nametags for the show this weekend. I stated 5 for the train layout and 8-10 for the displays, so I think I have enough. So for the train layout-- Calum Tsang Jeremy Taylor (...) (18 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
