in general, I don't think so. For instance, at HoB last year (the first year

through seemed stupified that this was all LEGO, and the amazing versitility of
it (a 8' suspension bridge, a castle and town, moonbase, Felix's sculptures,
trains, technic and the GBC, etc.).
   Yes, there's an AFoL event it seems every weekend somewhere on just N.
America... but the average member of the public is still lucky if they happen
into a LEGO themed event even once a year.

   Bodypainting, now... there's a trend that seems to have become much to
commercialized.
