There are two goals to having the robot within two marks: a) Definitively saying if you've "made it". b) Ruling out people who might leave a portion of the robot behind. I have kind of a nagging question about rtl16: The rules as discussed so far do not prohibit one from simply grabbing the bottom of the rope and then twirling the claw, thus wrapping it up.
