Baseline.

They may be oldbut they work! As to 6100, while given enough RAM it should
run MacOS 8.6 and higher, I'm afraid your are of of luck with OpenGL
programs, as GLUT only operates with ATI graphics cards and to my knowledge
ATI have never made NuBus graphics cards. I have the same problem with my
old 7200/120, it will run LdGLite (Mac) but offers no visual feed back (it
has an original Techworks 3dfx card). But machines like this are useful for
development machines as they compile code ok and are not usually used by the
rest of the household. (ps I also have a Powerbook 165c that I use to test
my programs written in 68K code).
NB a 6100 mac should make an excellent internet machine as they are from
memory equipped with "Geoports" thus allowing direct cable connection to the
serial port through a geoport adaptor.
Experiment - old gear can make interesting machinery if used sympathetically.
