Well, that's why centre looks stupid to us Ugly Americans. we pronounce
it Cen-TER rather then Cen-TRAY... so the "tre" spelling doesn't look
quite right to our eyes

Here down under we pronounce centre as you Ugly Americans (1) do.  It's
doesn't look as it sounds but I suppose people have gotten used to it.

Up here in Canada (I guess you could call us Up Over) we spell it both ways,
but I prefer to spell it centre.
But it doesn't matter how we spell or pronounce centre/center, as long as the
world has peace we will all be happy!

........<scratches head>....the woman who stars on American TV show
.......you know.....with the long hair and ....ears

You mean....er...that show.....Fiends?...no.....I know!...I think it's Single
White Female Lawyer Show!

.........oh.....not to
mention...the woman who stars in that commerical.......which screens
inbetween TV programs......the woman who has a nice pair
of........eyes.......   ;)

Um.....is that the one when the woman sells the product...and then looks at it?
Yeah that's the one.....I think I've seen that....

American TV, is there anything it can't do? ;-)
