I'm being cruelly maligned. I would never hit a pedestrian on purpose.
And I never would have hit that curb, either, if it hadn't have jumped
out in front of me because I was trying to be a nice guy.

See Rule #1 When Driving In MA...

I suspect your front right wheel is now cruelly misaligned, too.  ;-)

Not to mention his Rental Kharma!

Rule #4 when driving in Massachusetts -- Never take a rental truck down Storrow
Drive.  (Mem Drive, either!)

Heh heh. That only happens once or twice a month...

Then there was the truck on 128 which was a little too tall to get under
a bridge in Waltham. Knocked one of the underside beams almost
completely out (of course far more spectacular was the tanker which
completely took out a bridge across I-40 in North Carolina - basically
burned up a steel bridge).

One that I saw that I never figured out exactly how they did it. There
was a car upside down on Memorial Drive, right under one of the over
head signs. The sign was tilted to almost parallel with the road
surface. Car must have somehow gone tail over nose.

(...) Reminds me of something that happened in my drivers ed class: Instructor: "Always aim for the softer target." Friend: "So if we have the options of hitting a brick wall and a pedestrian, we should hit the pedestrian?" Instructor: "Yes." Now (...)
