Re: sproaty's responses (Re: What do I have to do to..) —Jeremy Sproat
(...) One or two people let me know that I'm fantastic, while a select few tell me I'm great, some think I'm okay, and others have the unfounded opinion that I need professional help. Personally, I select All Of The Above. What the--?! "Sproaty"? (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) I don't think I ever saw the ending, I'll have to check. A couple years ago, I got about 50-75% of issues 50-160 from one of my mother's coworkers. That was really cool. :) (...)       (...) Hmmm.... Can't find anything on that at (URL) ... trying Gary Gygax's rather emotional FAQ at his home page, (URL) ... Nope, no mention of a re-hire. Arg.          Re: Ender's Game ( was: Re: Dragon magazine comics) —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Cool. I was sure the 4th book was about all that could be done there, I was thinking Card had pretty much mined out that theme. Does it suffer from the run-on tendency that recent Card works seem to exhibit? It's like, "Orson, get to the (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Ender's Game ( was: Re: Dragon magazine comics) —Jeremy Sproat
I absolutely *LOVED* Card's earlier books. I'd put him on the caliber of early Stephen King. His short stories were especially provoking, if a bit gruesome. He authored an excellent anthology on dread -- as opposed to terror and horror -- which (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
