I remember when Tipper pushed through the "Parental Advisory" labels on
CD/Tape packaging. I was in Junior High or High School at the time (don't
remember exactly which) and soon after she got those pushed through, there
were T-shirts and hats released with the label. I remember it being pretty
"cool" if you were to wear one of those to school.
It was also considered pretty "cool" for awhile to obtain a CD/tape with
that label on it and proudly display it while you were listening to it.
