No.
Todd sais he thought there would be a strong corrolation between people who are
big Star Wars fans and people who strongly dislike Jar Jar.
You directly say that because you are a Star Wars fan, you dislike Jar Jar.
Your conclusion is flawed.

In my personal experience, it's about 50-50. Some fans loathe him, some don't
mind him.

I don't care if you enjoy Jar Jar bashing, go forth and bash to your heart's
content. My only point is that it's not because you're a Star Wars fan that
you dislike Jar Jar. Not all big Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar.
