I also see some value in legislation which kicks us in the pants to
clean up our act. I wonder where minorities would be today without • all
the civil rights legislation?

Well, I hate to say this, but environmental regulations versus civil
rights legislation is, in my view, two totally separate things. • Treating
humans equally is a universal right, mandatory environmental
regulations, with inane or outdated laws, is debatable, and clearly an
overreach of power of the federal government.

True, but many of those civil rights laws infringe just as much on
Liberatopia as environmental laws.

Really? What ones are you referring to? If you are referring to
Affirmative Action, I would agree to a point. There are two points from
that, 1) You can't discriminate an the basis of race, etc. The 2nd one
set up the affirmative action, where you have to have x slots just for
minorities, or a certain percentage. That is not right, in my book.

Just a comment, when did regulation of the waste disposal industry occur?
Around the same time that Civil Rights was in full swing?  While the Civil
Rights laws were necesary for the most part, politicos used that momentum to
suck into the government's grip things which had no reason to be there.
"For a good cause," - yes, but the industries and the consumers who use them
have suffered (have been ~infringed~) from that kind of legislation and
politicking.  Even good legislation infringes on some, when it never should.

Libertarian.

Alright, I did not know for sure. I am all for privatization of any
industry where the government is, and doing a poor job, from education
to roads, etc. Trash should be one of those, that's for sure. Hey, I
might make some sense out of this after all! :)

I bet you will!  Just don't get too caught up in it.

(...) Trying not to take this out of context or anything, when you say hose, are you saying store, as in storing the balls?
